United Guilds Service 2023

Monday 27 March 2023

On 24th March, Liverymen from all companies gathered at St Paul's Cathedral for the Annual United Guilds Service. This was the 79th time the service has taken place.

We were pleased to be welcomed by Liveryman Valerie Wilkins who was doing a wonderful job in her stewarding duties and then made our way to our seats - each company is allocated their own row with the masters seated next to the aisle. This year, the sermon was given by the Dean of Westminster and as always, the congregation enjoyed hearing the choristers, a number of whom wear badges provided by livery companies who provide bursary support to the school.

Afterwards, Needlemakers made their way to Stationers' Hall, where, along with a number of other companies, we were welcomed by Master Stationer to a convivial lunch provided by the on site caterers Searcys.

Pictured are the Master and Wardens in their livery gowns and badges of office.
