Hearts on Fire

Bishop Christopher has chosen Hearts on Fire in the Diocese of Southwark to be the recipient of the Honorary Chaplain’s chosen charity this year. This will help the community of the Dalgarno estates to overcome the challenging circumstances they face on a daily basis.

Recently a terror suspect was arrested on the estate and two of the 7/7 bombers were from the flats. The donation will provide opportunities for day trips off the estates as travelling bonds groups and consolidates relationships in new ways. It will also help fund a family therapist and a children’s theatre facilitator.
