Court Lunch at Trinity House
Monday 24 April 2023
New Freeman Jo-Ann Gloger, Curator of Forge Mill Needle Museum
Master meets the Captain of HMS Trent
On 21st April, the Court met for their regular spring meeting. One of the benefits of being a Company without a hall is that we have opportunities to visit lots of venues and this time, we chose Trinity House. This is the first time Needlemakers had visited the venue and we were not disappointed with the beautiful building and helpful staff. At the Court meeting, 6 new members were approved ranging in age from 29 to 80 and we were very pleased to admit a new Freeman who has already had a long standing association with the Company through her role as Curator at Forge Mill Needle Museum in Redditch. After the meeting, members and their guests enjoyed a very fine lunch from caterers Cook and the Butler and were very interested to meet the guest speaker - the new Captain of HMS Trent with which we are affiliated.
