Almoners Lunch May 2024

An "Almoner's Lunch" was held at Ironmongers Hall on 20 May 2024. A delicious three course lunch with wine was enjoyed by 19 Liverymen who, for various reasons, find it difficult to attend as many events as they once did. The Master regaled them with stories from his very successful Trip to Essex. Many of those present had not seen each other for quite a while and were delighted to catch up.

Ironmongers Hall offers particularly convenient disabled access with ramps and a lift so that we were able to enjoy lunch in the main hall. The staff looked after us very well indeed and the service was excellent. Everyone agreed that this event should be repeated towards the end of the year.
