350th Celebration Evensong and Beating of the Retreat

Another highlight of our 350th anniversary celebrations was an Evensong held on 16 July 2014 at St Paul’s Cathedral, which we shared with the Glass Sellers Company who are also celebrating their 350th anniversary.

The service was attended by 174 Needlemakers, 130 Glass Sellers, 70 other Masters together with the Lord Mayor, Sheriffs and various Aldermen.

After the service we watched our TA Regiment, the 3rd Princess of Wales Royal Regiment Beating the Retreat in Guildhall Yard followed by a reception in Guildhall Library.
